Savanna Tobacco Company Primary Processing

Although Savanna Tobacco does not do its own primary processing of tobacco, it works with reputable and experienced partners to guarantee quality products.

Stage 1

Our buyers carefully inspect the tobacco to ensure uniformity in quality and colours prior to blending.

Stage 2

Different classes of tobacco are fed onto the table for proportional blending to produce the premium quality blends out of which our brands are made.

Automatic tray filling of cigarettes ready for storage prior to packing, reduces manual handling, increase efficiency and improves quality.  Each line of our making lines can run up to 8000 cigarettes per minute.
Our operators keep a watchful eye on the key parameters of the process at every stage of the making process to ensure that every aspect of the process and the end product are within set specifications

Here the cigarettes are temporarily stored of cigarettes after the making process prior to packing.  This humidified room helps to maintain product quality the appropriate moisture level for consumers’ smoking pleasure.

Cigarette Packing-Metro Complex – High Speed Cigarette Packing Machine enables Savanna to achieve high volumes whilst producing premium quality cigarettes.  The Focke packer is our newest packing line with capacity to do 400 packets per minute.
